neARtracker relies on a low-cost sensor that enables any smartphone/tablet to track position and orientation in real time on printable physical surfaces: tables, walls or plain paper. Position sensing works as follows:
- the neARtracker sensor is attached to the smartphone camera
- the device is placed on a surface with printed markers purposefully developed for real-time tracking (typically 25-30 fps), ease of printing and almost-invisibility – the latter requirement is for enabling projection on the surface.
- a mobile app is using our tracking software/API to receive position/orientation
